Term-Based Workshops
Term-based workshops will be held throughout 2012 for young performers. Get involved and develop your skills outside of the classroom. Term-based workshops will be offered in three levels: Drama One (Grades 5-7, Ages 10-12), Drama Two (Grades 8-10, Ages 13-15) and Drama Plus (Grades 11 to Young Adult, Ages 16+). All term workshops run for 8 weeks and cost $130 per person. Term 1 workshops are on sale now!

The IMPACT Ensemble
Presented by Empire Youth Arts, the IMPACT Ensemble is an elite performance program for young artists. Entry is based on audition and the ensemble will work for a semester to create, develop and rehearse a polished performance piece for audiences at the Empire Theatre. The IMPACT Ensemble's Semester One performance will be Blackrock, a thought-provoking play that has proven itself as a timeless tale of adolescence and reminds us all of the consequences we make.

School Holiday Workshops
The 18 Hour Play Project (18-20 JANUARY)
For 18 hours over 3 days, students aged 10-15 will learn to use improvisation, new media and their own imaginations to come up with a play to blow the mind! Come along ane be amazed by what you can come up with in such a short amount of time while enhancing your confidence, performance skills and holiday fun! For just $40 per day, tyhis 3 day holiday activity is sure to put a spring in your step and a smile on your face before you head back to school!

September Holidays (1-5 OCTOBER)
In the 2012 September holidays, Empire Youth Arts will again offer workshop opportunites for young poeple to broaden their horizons and learn new skills. A range of workshops will be offered including audition techniques to get you ready for the end of year audition season. Stay tuned for more information. Specialist Programs
A number of specialist programs are being run throughout the year focusing on key areas of interest. Specialist dance, music and acting workshops will feature alongside the standard program, introducing young people to new experiences or furthering their learning in a specific area such as acting or music theatre.

Regional Outreach
In 2011, Empire Youth Arts visited Pittsworth, Dalby and the Lockyer Valley. In 2012, we are branching out to these regions again to bring the arts to you! Millmerran and Crow's Nest will also play host to workshops for various age groups.
