Dorothy's Diary - Edition 3

Wow!

I am learning sooo many news things it’s amazing and exciting!! Everything is new to me (well obviously not how to sing, and not how to put an expression on) but exactly what to express, and when etc.

Yesterday we sorted through the first three scenes with most of the principal characters. I held Frodo throughout it; we’re trying to work on him coming to me when he has to as right now he kinda trots past me to his owner, lol. But he’s cute! Sometimes as I’m holding him he just drops his head on my shoulder as he waits it all out.

The Thursday just passed we filmed the commercial, that is something I’ve never done before and it was so interesting! They had a green background and I was up on this little green walk way. It was hot being in full costume and hugging Frodo, Frodo radiates heat! So I was like ‘phew hot!’ by the end of it, but it was good to get introduced to how it will feel on the stage.

Oh! We got to see how the dancers are gonna do the Jitterbug and the Poppies dance and its sooo interesting, I love watching them dance. We were shown what we had to do to and I can’t wait to really rehearse it and get it down packed! Funny how I love dancing so much and it’s the one thing (out of Drama, Singing, and Dancing) that I’ve never had lessons in before.

Oh my goodness Alison is ‘wow’ on stage!! I would love, love, LOVE! To watch her dance all out, Jess said it’s pretty cool.
I love looking at all the talent around me; it makes me feel like bursting out with laughter and song...la!! Lol sorry obviously this all means so much to me who loves performing! And I get to do it with so many talented people!

Alison is trying to beat her record by hoping The Wizard of Oz sells more tickets than Cats did. I hope it does (obviously). It would be so cool if ticket sales really went through the roof! With prayer though we can see the record explode!

Thanks for reading!

‘Till I next post :)
