Bequests
If your life has been enriched by the performing arts, there is a way you can help future generations experience the same passion. To ensure your love for the Arts goes beyond your lifetime, you may consider including the Empire Theatres Foundation as a beneficiary in your Will.
You probably are aware that Brian Boak (pictured) made a generous bequest to the Foundation in his Will which has resulted in the Foundation being able to offer bursaries to a long list of deserving performers since 2007. Brian was a staunch supporter of the performing arts on the Darling Downs and his bequest has allowed the Empire Theatres Foundation to ensure future generations can share his passion.
Obviously the Foundation is always receptive to donations during your lifetime or you can make a bequest in your Will. If you intend to make a bequest in your Will and would like to discuss how the Foundation can best utilise your bequest, feel free to contact the General Manager for a confidential discussion.
It is best if you consult a solicitor as to the wording of the bequest when you finalise your Will, but if you would like the Foundation to provide a suitable wording, it is happy to do so.
For more information please contact the General Manager for a confidential discussion on 07 4698 9900.
