The Daytime Series

Formerly known as Morning Melodies, the Daytime Series, sponsored by Beauaraba Living, will bring a mix of Thursday morning and Sunday afternoon shows to the theatre. Returning in 2018 is popular variety show Back to the Tivoli, for two shows, and Empire favourite Australian Army Band-Brisbane.We welcome back The Queensland Pops Orchestra for two new performances, and are excited to include Livvy & Pete - The Songs of Olivia Newton John and Feelin' Groovy - capturing the spirit of the legendary duo Simon and Garfunkel. Kicking off the series in February is The Australian Army Band-Brisbane with a concert featuring the music of Duke Ellington and Count Basie.

A complimentary shuttle service will be running from Rumours International

on Ruthven Street to The Empire Theatre for Thursday Daytime Series performances.

Enter the Rumours International car park on Piper Street via Ruthven Street and an attendant will direct you where to park.

A complimentary morning tea served by the Friends of the Empire Theatre is offered prior to each performance, at 10am. There are lucky door prizes to be won each show.

 Not included in this package, the Queensland Pops Orchestra will return for two performances, The Best of British- Sunday 6 May 3pm and  Amigos Para Siempre - Sunday 28 October, 3pm
