Your mission - make an 8 minute film in 24 hours! Back for its fourth year the Origin8 Fast Film Festival, presented by Colin Mackay The Good Guys, will be even bigger and better in 2012.

Friday 17 August: Enter your team by 8pm

Saturday 18 August: Make your film

Sunday 19 August: Come along to the Top 8 Screening at 6.30pm (free for registered teams)

IT'S EASY...just follow these 8 simple steps:

1. Get together a team of up to 8 people and the equipment you need to make your film.

2. Register your team and pay the $80 team entry fee by 8pm on Friday 17 August. Pre-register b4 10 August and pay only $60 per team.

3. Be @ the Empire Theatre @ 8pm on Friday 17 August for the release of the Integr8 list.*

4. Create your film using your imagin8tion, cre8tivity and innov8ion.

5. Submit your film by 8pm on Saturday 18 August.

6. Relax and celebr8!

7. Enjoy a Bargain Breakfast and particip8 in the free workshops to be held on Sunday 19 August.

8. Attend the Screening of the Top 8 films @ 6.30pm and find out if your team won cash or prizes.

*The integr8 list is a list of themes required to be incorporated into your film. Filmmakers will need to integr8 at least one theme into the fabric of their film. Themes must be obvious and teams will be asked to explain the integr8tion.
