More than two hundred years after its publication the story of Frankenstein still has much to offer audiences today. Indeed, many have taken this horror and twisted it to their own will, its frightful monstrosity and his maker a warning to man and their advancements. But often overlooked was author Mary Shelley, a young woman of a mere 18 years old who penned the work in response to a challenge by Lord Byron in 1816, during the Year Without Summer. Hidden away in their homes until the world was safe to return to, Frankenstein and the story of its making is eerily resonant to our own slice of history. This provocation has provided the basis of A Monster Unfinished by the 2020 Senior IMPACT Ensemble, taking us from an emotional afterparty of an end of year school musical to a cold and dark villa well in the past, and all the way back again. There’s a lot of truth when it comes to fiction!

The 2020 Senior IMPACT Ensemble is: Ben Anderson, Isabella Apalais, Zoe Bartley, Addisyn Herndon, Tim James, Cosme McPhie, Sandra Miller, Jack Mullins, Ben Rosenberg, Elizabeth Stanfield, Dariel Suri and Jack Waters. Assistant Direction by Sienna Davis and Nicole Haeusler.
