The 2018 IMPACT Junior Ensemble presents

10 George Street

Everyone is part of History, and every place has a story as old as the Earth. – ‘My Place’ by Nadia Wheatley & Donna Rawlins.

Last year, the first ever Junior IMPACT Ensemble graced our stages, grown out of our dedication to working with young people and elevating their voices and perspectives to be a part of our wide and interconnected narratives. This year, a brand-new work that has been dreamt, written and performed for, with and by young creatives draws from the journey of finding your place.

From the vast reaches of the galaxy to the suburban routines that occupy our days – we all know what it’s like to be small in a big world. Growing up, moving away, time passing and relationships changing, taking responsibility and being part of something inexplicable, this play brings it all together. Our littlest voices can capture the world in ways we might not know, beyond our imagination, and often times more honestly than we care to remember, but it’s true, from little things some of the biggest things grow.
