Direct from Her Majesty's Theater in London's glittering West End, Queensland singer (and Brian Boak Bursary Recipient), Tenor Paul Ettore Tabone returns home for a one night only event at The Empire Theatre in Nostalgia - The Jewels of The Stage and Screen. Bringing home with him, Lara Martins, who together, form “The Opera Couple from London's’ The Phantom of The Opera”. The two have been dubbed "The Dream Team from London's The Phantom of The Opera" by Maybe Musical Magazine as Carlotta & Piangi.
Join this iconic duo as they take you on a journey through the songs of the Stage and Screen in an evening of music you wont forget. Songs from musicals, opera and films such as The Phantom of The Opera, The Student Prince, Chess, Cabaret, Beauty and The Beast, La Boheme, Tosca, Madama Butterfly and much, much more.
The evening will be accompanied by Professor Judith Brown.

In combination with this event CQ University and The Empire Theatre are proud to offer a FREE Community Masterclass lead by Paul Ettore Tabone & Lara Martins on "Audition Techniques for The West End" between 10:00 - 13:00 on Monday the 11th of March at The Armitage Centre. Professor Judith Brown, head of the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music will be on hand accompanying the event, and to answer any questions about the CQU Bachelor of Theatre Degree.
