The Empire Strikes Back series of performances is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland and Wearing Memories - Empire Theatres Foundation Business Partner. .

The highs and lows of romance on and off stage mirrored through iconic duets, swirling dance sequences and songs from silver screen to stage blockbusters.
Toowoomba's Shannon Gralow and Justin Tamblyn, two of Queensland’s multi-talented rising music theatre co-stars are Love Sick, sharing their real life romance through music and dance.
Alluring, passionate and charming!

The couple first met on stage in the cast of Mary Poppins in 2015. Justin Tamblyn was playing the role of Bert while Shannon played the lead as Mary Poppins. Their on-stage chemistry was electric, while off stage their relationship blossomed.

Justin Tamblyn is a ‘triple threat’ who has toured as a tapping professional with Hot Shoe Shuffle, acted in children’s character roles of Patchy the Pirate and the popular Spongebob Square Pants, with a serenading tenor voice for classic melodies.
